CHANGE THE PATTERN. CHANGE THE PATH.
Hi, I am Timea
Someone once told me, "You create your own reality." At the time, I didn't understand what she meant. In fact, I didn't agree with her.
This was a few years after I had left a relationship in which I had experienced betrayal. I remember thinking, How did I create that? I hadn't choses what happened to me, and I certainly didn't believe I was responsible for someone else's choices.
It took me quite some time to understand that creating your own reality doesn't have to mean blaming yourself for what has happened to you. What interested me much more was what happens afterwards.

“I’ve learned that change isn’t always one big turning point.
Often, we already know what we want to do - the challenge is actually doing it.
Change happens in the smaller moments when we begin to choose differently.”

What we carry forward
I began to see how things we go through can stay with us in ways we don't always recognise. They can affect what we expect, what we fear, what we believe about ourselves, what we accept from other people and the choices we make without really understanding why.
We also find ways to cope. Sometimes those ways help us get through something at the time, but become difficult to let go o flater. For some people that might be smoking, dringking, using drugs or tuning to food for comfort.
For others it might be overthinking, avoiding things, constantly needing reassurance or trying to contorl what happens next.
The behaviour might look very different from one person to another, but often there is something underneath it hat deserves our attention rather than simply trying to get rid of the behaviour.
My own story started much earlier than that relationship. I grew up without my parents, and later experiences of betrayla affected me deeply. For a long time, I didn't see the connections between those experiences and some of the patterns that followed.
That doesn't mean our past decides our fufture. But I do believe there comes a point when it's worth looking honestly at what we're carrying with us. We can't change what happened and we're not responsible or other people's choices. But we can begin to recognise what those expereinces have taught us and whether we still went to live from them.
Why I do this work
Hypnotherapy made a huge difference in my own life and it also gave me a sense of purpose.
After the betrayal, thre were so many moments when I was overwhelmed by fear, overthinking or simply trying to make sense o what had happened. I didn't have anything to reach for in those moments. I would have been grateul for something that could help me calm down, come back to myself and get through what I was feeling withough needit to have all the answers. That experience has influences the kind of work I want to create now.

I beliee hypnotherapy can be a powerfful tool, but I also want the support I create to be practical and useful in real life, especially in those moments when old patterns, fear or emotion can take over.
Because I've come to believe that it isn't only the big decisions that shape our lives. Often, it's the small choices we make is seemingly ordinary moments. What we say yes to. What we tolerate. Whether we speak up or stay quiet. Whether we react immediately or give ourselves time. Wether we keep repeating what we've alwasy done or choose something different.
Those moments can seem small when we're in them. Over time, they can take us in very different directions.
That is a larger par of what Inner Waves is about.

Developing the W.O.R.T.H.Y. Protocol™
Through my work, I began to notice something repeatedly. Many of the people I worked with - and others I encountered in everyday life - were intelligent, capable and often outwardly confident, yet underneath that confidence was a very different relationship with their own worth.
They did not seem to have low self-esteem, and how it presented in their lives for example as putting their own needs last, accepting less than they really wanted, compromising their standards, or making choices they knew weren't right for them.
I became interested in that gap between knowing your worth and actually making choices that reflect it and that led me to develop The W.O.R.T.H.Y. Protocol™ - a practical six-step framework for recognising these patterns in everyday life and making more conscious, self-aligned choices.
See where this is showing up in your own life
You might already know some of the patterns you want to change. Others can be harder to see, especially when they’ve become part of how you normally respond.
The W.O.R.T.H.Y. Decision Map is a free guided reflection that helps you look across different areas of your life and recognise where you may be overriding yourself, what tends to happen in those moments and where you might want to start choosing differently.
Ready to change what keeps repeating?
Start by changing the pattern that keeps bringing you back to the same place.
